The Role & Responsibilities

As a Freelance Accounting Consultant – AI Trainer, you’ll blend accounting expertise with pedagogical clarity to train AI on accounting tasks.

Craft and refine accounting content: Develop clear, accurate examples and content covering GAAP and IFRS standards to teach AI systems how to reason through accounting scenarios.
Evaluate expert contributions: Review work from subject-matter experts, audit accuracy, and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality benchmarks.
Onboard and assess contributors: Interview, test, and validate the qualifications of AI contributors with a rigorous but supportive approach.
Moderate project communications: Facilitate clarity in team chats and Discord discussions, addressing queries and ensuring alignment with project guidelines.
Ensure content integrity: Audit contributions consistently, ensuring AI responses meet professional standards for reliability and relevance.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a confident financial expert with strong instructional intent:

Advanced degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred): Deep knowledge of accounting standards like GAAP and/or IFRS is essential.
5+ years of professional experience: Background as an accountant, FP&A analyst, controller, or similar helps ensure real-world context.
Strong English communication (C1+): You’ll explain complex financial topics clearly—both in written content and during moderation.
Flexibility and quick adaptability: Ability to switch between topics, adjust to evolving AI guidelines, and manage complex requirements.
