The Role & Responsibilities

As a Clinical Instructor, you will:

Each responsibility is grounded in the context of nurturing skilled, ethical healthcare professionals ready to serve Sri Lankan communities.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Teaching experience: Prior experience in clinical instruction, mentorship, or adult education—so you’re comfortable transforming technical skills into accessible learning.
  • Curriculum development skills: Experience crafting clinical modules or lesson plans ensures you’re able to shape content to meet both global standards and local realities.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written English (and preferably Sinhala or Tamil) to effectively connect with a diverse student body.
  • Adaptability and empathy: A demonstrated ability to connect with students from varied backgrounds while maintaining professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

  • Collaborative: You thrive in team settings, open to feedback, and eager to contribute to program development.
  • Ethical and accountable: You model integrity in all interactions, reinforcing trust in the learning environment.
  • Culturally sensitive: You appreciate Sri Lanka’s rich cultural mosaic and adapt your teaching to respect different learning styles and backgrounds.
  • Growth-oriented: You embrace lifelong learning—keeping current with clinical and educational best practices.
