The Opportunity

We are seeking a Plant Operative to join our close-knit team at the Micheldever depot. In this multi-skilled role, you will be a key player in our daily operations and the first point of contact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Plant Operation: Driving loading shovels and excavators (training provided for the right candidate).

• Technical Tasks: Handling crushing, screening, and concrete batching.

• Logistics & Administration: Managing the weighbridge and maintaining accurate records for waste-in and materials-out.

• Customer Service: Welcoming visitors and clients with a personable and professional attitude.

• Teamwork: Supporting the small depot team across various core tasks as needed.

Who You Are

• Safety First: You possess excellent Health & Safety knowledge.

• Experienced: Ideally, you have a background in the construction materials industry and experience operating mobile plants (Front-end loading shovel/360 excavator).

• Skills: Previous experience in mixing materials, weighbridge operations, or concrete batching is highly desirable.

• Communicator: You are a customer-focused individual with strong communication skills.
