The Opportunity

We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator to join our team at the Isle of Grain depot. In this essential front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for our drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet internal and external drivers with a professional and helpful attitude.

  • Data Management: Accurately record weight data using a Windows-based computer system for all materials entering or leaving the site.

  • Operational Support: Act as a key member of a small, collaborative team. This is a “hands-on” role where you will also learn to operate mobile plant equipment.

  • Experienced: Comfortable working in an office or industrial administrative environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Competent using workplace PCs and Google applications.

  • Communicator: Confident dealing with people and building effective working relationships.

  • Driven: Self-motivated, highly organized, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
