The Opportunity

As a Senior Fraud Risk Manager, you will lead the strategy for Cross-Border and Domestic Payments Fraud, pioneering new techniques and technologies to balance robust security with a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Shape the payment fraud strategy for Global Payments Solutions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the business’s fraud risk profile.

Control Innovation: Partner with central Fraud Risk Management to design and implement cutting-edge controls for both new and existing products.

Global Oversight: Review and uplift the global control framework to ensure it remains fit for purpose across all jurisdictions.

Investment Planning: Define and monitor investment requirements for strategic product development to ensure security priorities are funded and met.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Technology, and Operations teams globally to align fraud requirements with product strategy without compromising customer journeys.

Regulatory Liaison: Support product teams in meeting the requirements of local regulators and major industry bodies (e.g., SWIFT, Fed, BoE, and Euro clearing schemes).
Requirements

Payments Expertise: Extensive professional background in Payments and significant experience within a Fraud Strategy or Management function.

Systems & Implementation: Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying Fraud Detection systems.

Change Management: Experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional initiatives and prioritizing product backlogs/defect resolutions.

Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships with senior executives, regulators, and third parties.

Problem Solving: An analytical, hands-on approach to issue resolution and program execution.
