The Role

Are you ready to lead the scaled delivery of UK data, analytics, and AI products? As the Head of UK Data & Analytics Delivery, you will report to the Chief Data and Analytics Office (UK) to shape and execute a cohesive strategy aligned with global standards. You will bring pace and clarity to a complex, regulated environment, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered on time and ready for seamless operational handover.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Execution: Drive a unified UK data and analytics strategy that aligns with the wider Group direction.
Team Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary Agile “pods,” fostering high-performance cultures and consistent delivery standards.
Stakeholder Management: Engage across the UK business to shape requirements, manage expectations, and improve data literacy.
Innovation: Generate propositions that deliver tangible benefits using AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics.
Operational Excellence: Manage the book of work across value streams, ensuring products are production-grade and meet all risk and control expectations.
Partnership: Collaborate with Technology, Risk, and Group teams to align delivery and leverage existing solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Depth: Hands-on engineering skills (Python, PySpark, Scala, or C++) and the ability to design effective data models and pipelines.
Delivery Expertise: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Regulatory Acumen: Strong knowledge of data management policies, data-related risks, and sustainable product delivery.
Influence: A natural ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across different geographies.
Problem Solving: A systematic approach to solving complex problems with sound judgment and a focus on business outcomes.
