Key Duties
As the Assistant Director of Event Services, you will play a key leadership role in driving the success of Cinnamon Life’s premium events portfolio. This position requires overseeing all aspects of event operations while ensuring world-class service delivery. Core responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings, conferences, banquets, and corporate events.
- Managing and mentoring the events team to achieve excellence in service and operations.
- Partnering with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless event experiences.
- Monitoring budgets, cost control, and profitability of event operations.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination across functions.
- Driving creativity and innovation in event design and execution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards, policies, and legal requirements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in luxury hospitality and proven expertise in event leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field (professional certifications are an advantage).
- At least 5–6 years’ experience in managing large-scale events, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity within luxury hotels or integrated resorts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-profile events with precision and creativity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- A passion for innovation and guest-centric service delivery.
- Familiarity with event management systems and hotel PMS is highly desirable.
