Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front office operations at our Kandy property. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver seamless guest experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department while inspiring your team to achieve service excellence.
Key Duties
- Direct and manage all front office operations, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Provide a welcoming presence in the lobby and build meaningful guest relationships.
- Train, guide, and motivate the front office team to maintain service standards.
- Oversee departmental objectives, aligning them with organizational goals.
- Act as the point of contact in the absence of senior leadership.
- Promote teamwork and a culture of accountability within the department.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or related discipline).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in a 4–5 star hotel.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrated strengths in guest engagement, team development, and problem-solving.
