Key Duties
As a Collections Supervisor, you will lead a team of agents in managing delinquent accounts while ensuring excellent member service. Core responsibilities include:
- Supervising, coaching, and developing collection agents to meet team performance goals.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delinquency, recovery rates, and promise-to-pay conversions.
- Reviewing productivity metrics to maximize efficiency and improve processes.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies (FDCPA, UDAAP, TCPA).
- Conducting regular performance evaluations, setting development plans, and recognizing high performers.
- Leading call calibration sessions to ensure negotiation quality and consistency.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align strategies with organizational objectives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in collections or call center leadership (preferred).
- Ability to work on-site with flexibility for hybrid arrangements (based on business needs).
- Willingness to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM tools and accurate data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
