The Role & Responsibilities

As a Trainee Attorney-at-Law, you will support Washlex’s legal and business development efforts, helping ensure the company’s innovations are both compliant and strategically positioned.

  • Draft and review commercial agreements: Assist with contracts related to installations, partnerships, supply agreements, or service-level commitments, ensuring terms protect Washlex’s interests and reflect its values.
  • Support regulatory and compliance efforts: Research local importation, consumer goods, and technology compliance requirements—particularly relevant for smart device installation in hospitality and healthcare sectors.
  • Assist in dispute resolution and client correspondence: Help respond to vendor or customer inquiries, draft formal letters, and support negotiations when legal concerns arise, ensuring Washlex maintains trust and transparency.
  • Maintain legal documentation and filing: Organize contract archives, renewal reminders, and documentation pertaining to warranties and service agreements, preserving institutional knowledge.
  • Collaborate with operations and management: Work with technical and sales teams to translate legal standards into operational checklists and support ethical, compliant business execution.
