The Role & Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from students and parents, offering timely support with warmth—from troubleshooting app login issues to explaining study resources.
- Direct inquiries to appropriate teams, whether it’s technical support, content assistance, or enrollment information—ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption for users.
- Log detailed call information, including customer name, inquiry, and resolution, to help the team identify common issues and improve service.
- Provide feedback on recurring concerns, helping the product team refine app features or content based on real user input.
- Collaborate remotely or on-site, depending on schedule needs, remaining responsive and adaptive to fluctuating call volumes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. A foundational education ensures the ability to grasp content and communicate effectively.
- Fluent in Sinhala and proficient in English. You’ll support a diverse user base, from local students to parents seeking clarity.
- Clear, empathetic phone communication. Since you’ll be the first line of contact, connecting with callers meaningfully is essential.
- Comfortable with basic tech tools. Navigating customer relationship systems and tracking software helps you deliver quick, accurate assistance.
- Previous customer-service or call-handling experience (preferred). Even if not in education, familiarity with structured support systems is a bonus.
