The Role & Responsibilities

As a Chain-of-Thought Data Curator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the reasoning steps captured in AI training data are accurate, consistent, and reflective of real-world problem-solving. This role requires a mix of linguistic awareness, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.

Core Duties

Curate and Refine AI Reasoning Data: Review AI-generated responses and break them down into step-by-step reasoning processes, ensuring clarity, correctness, and coherence.
Quality Assurance: Validate datasets for logical accuracy, identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors that may affect model training.
Annotation and Tagging: Label data with meaningful metadata that enhances machine understanding of human reasoning.
Collaborate with Research Teams: Work closely with data scientists and engineers to provide feedback on model performance and suggest improvements in training methodologies.
Maintain Ethical Standards: Ensure curated data aligns with responsible AI practices by avoiding bias, promoting fairness, and preserving user trust.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a combination of technical ability and human-centered thinking. While prior experience in AI or data science is an advantage, strong analytical skills and curiosity matter most.

Educational Background: A degree in computer science, linguistics, cognitive science, data analytics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Analytical Skills: Ability to break down complex problems into clear, logical steps and communicate them effectively.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated track record of accuracy in data entry, editing, or quality control tasks.
Technical Comfort: Familiarity with AI tools, data annotation platforms, or programming basics (Python is a plus).
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English proficiency to document and explain reasoning processes.
