The Role & Responsibilities

As a Delivery Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the channeling center. This position is designed for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and ready to take on responsibilities that directly contribute to patient satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Timely Delivery of Documents and Prescriptions: Safely transport prescriptions, reports, and essential medical documents to patients, pharmacies, and partner clinics, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
Patient Interaction: Provide friendly and respectful service when delivering items to patients, offering reassurance and guidance if needed.
Coordination with Staff: Work closely with medical staff and administrative teams to ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed efficiently.
Record Keeping: Maintain basic logs of deliveries to ensure accountability and traceability.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow road safety rules and handle sensitive medical information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Support in Daily Operations: Assist the administrative team with small errands and other tasks when delivery schedules are light.

Qualifications

We welcome individuals with strong work ethics and a commitment to supporting patient-centered care. While formal education is not the only requirement, specific skills and experiences will help you succeed in this role.

Educational Background: GCE O/L or equivalent is preferred, but candidates with strong reliability and integrity will be considered.
Driving or Riding License: A valid motorcycle or light vehicle license is required for transport duties.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple deliveries efficiently and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication in Sinhala or Tamil, with basic English an advantage.
Professionalism: Respectful behavior when interacting with patients and handling sensitive documents.
Experience: Previous work in delivery, courier services, or customer service will be an advantage, though not mandatory.
