Key Duties
As a Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality, stability, and performance of mobile applications across iOS and Android. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing automation strategies to strengthen QA processes.
- Creating and executing test plans, cases, and scripts for mobile platforms.
- Running functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests.
- Reporting and tracking issues in Jira, and maintaining test documentation in Confluence.
- Developing and maintaining UI automation with Playwright, JavaScript, and Cucumber.
- Working with Appium, Appium Inspector, and Xcode for mobile test automation.
- Utilizing Git for version control and collaborating effectively with development teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of hands-on expertise and analytical skills. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Advanced knowledge of Cucumber, Appium, and Playwright.
- Solid understanding of mobile testing strategies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare clear reports.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
