The Role & Responsibilities
As a Tele-Sales Executive, you will be at the heart of our outreach team, building relationships with prospective learners and guiding them toward the right academic path. Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting educational programs: Reach out to potential students and parents to explain our courses, entry requirements, and unique value, ensuring they feel supported in making informed decisions.
- Generating leads: Proactively identify, qualify, and follow up with new leads through outbound and inbound calls, creating a steady pipeline of prospective learners.
- Maintaining student records: Accurately update the database with inquiries, call notes, and enrollment statuses to ensure smooth communication across teams.
- Meeting targets: Work toward weekly and monthly sales goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the institution.
- Customer relationship management: Provide exceptional service, answer queries with patience, and ensure each potential learner feels valued and understood.

Qualifications

- Educational background: At least an Advanced Level (A/L) qualification; a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or Communication is an added advantage.
- Communication skills: Strong command of English and Sinhala (Tamil is an advantage) to effectively engage with a diverse group of learners.
- Sales experience: Prior experience in telesales, call centers, or customer service roles is highly desirable, as it prepares you to handle inquiries professionally and persuasively.
- Technical skills: Basic knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and data entry to efficiently manage student information.
- Time management: Ability to balance multiple calls, follow-ups, and reporting duties within tight timelines.
