Intern Programme Period: 24 Nov 2025 – May 2026 (Software Engineer)
Our Engineering Internship has been crafted to simulate our Engineering Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career in Engineering at LSEG would really be like.
To be eligible, you must be a 3 rd year bachelors/undergraduate due to complete your degree summer 202 7 and studying a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
During your time with us you will have the opportunity to explore potential career paths by working within our LSEG Markets Engineering as a Software Engineer .
We have opportunities for students to join our Colombo – Malabe hub as a Software Engineer .
Main responsibilities during your 6-month internship
• Contribute as a C++ or Java engineer in an agile scrum team.
• Work towards u nderstand software modules and subsystems from design to quality perspectives
• With support from senior engineers with t ranslate story-level requirements into tasks and implement them in C++ or Java code.
• With supervision a pply code changes with integrity and best practices.
• Gain experience in software quality through unit, component , and end-to-end testing.
