Area Sales Manager – Pipes & Fittings
Location: North & Scotland Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000 + Negotiable Bonus Benefits: Hybrid company car & comprehensive benefits package
The Role
We are seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to represent a leading manufacturer of high-quality pipes and fittings for the drainage, water, sewage, and gas sectors. This role focuses on managing and growing a well-established territory across the North and Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:

Channel Management: 100% of your focus will be on selling to national and independent merchants (Builders, Plumbers, and Civil Merchants).

Key Accounts: Manage relationships with major partners such as Keyline, Travis Perkins, BSS, JDP, Jewson Civils, Frazers, and Wolseley.

Strategic Growth: Maintain a healthy balance of established account management and proactive new business development.
The Candidate
This is an ideal opportunity for a driven sales professional looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

Experience: Ideally, you have field sales experience within building products. However, we are also keen to speak with Internal Sales or Branch Staff (e.g., from Keyline, Travis Perkins, etc.) looking to make their first step into a field-based role.

Attributes: You must be dynamic, hungry for success, and highly organized.

Knowledge: While a background in all building products is welcome, experience within the Civils market is a distinct advantage.
