Assistant Manager – Sustainability Reporting

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of five (05) years of experience in Sustainability functions from a recognized organization.

• Education: Master’s degree in the field of Sustainability / Environment Science from a recognized university.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection, validation, and consolidation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information from relevant business units and subsidiaries.

• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements under GRI Standards, SLFRS S1 and S2, Integrated Reporting Framework, and other relevant sustainability frameworks.

• Lead and coordinate the sustainability assurance process for disclosures prepared under SLFRS S1 and S2 as well as GRI Standards and the Integrated Reporting Framework.

• Coordinate and conduct internal audits of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) to assess compliance with standard requirements.

• Lead the calculation and verification process of the Bank’s carbon footprint, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

• Conduct stakeholder identification and materiality assessment exercises in line with GRI Standards, SLFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and other relevant ESG frameworks.

• Develop ESG dashboards for the Board Sustainability Committee and the ESG Committee.

Other Competencies Required

• Sound knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.

• Data analysis and reporting skills.

• Project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

• Understanding of climate change and ESG regulations.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
