Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), the manufacturer of the iconic Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams, is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS operates as a proud subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

Role Overview

The Elephant House Confectionery category is seeking a competent, driven individual to initiate and expand our confectionery portfolio. This role will spearhead multiple greenfield projects from initial conceptualization through to market launch. You will collaborate closely with various project stakeholders while focusing heavily on the planning and implementation of strategic marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Initiation: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to initiate greenfield confectionery projects.

• Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough market entry assessments and feasibility studies to de-risk new product introductions.

• Project Execution: Successfully drive project execution timelines from concept to commercialization.

• Strategic Planning: Plan, brief, and launch robust marketing plans aligned with overall brand strategies and category objectives.

• Go-to-Market Execution: Oversee the flawless execution of new brand launches and localized in-market initiatives.

Person Specifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or an equivalent professional qualification such as CIM.

• Postgraduate: An MBA is a distinct advantage, particularly with a specialization in Project Management or Marketing Management.

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Brand Management within the FMCG or a closely related industry, with direct exposure to greenfield projects.

• Competencies: Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional projects and leading fresh, large-scale commercial initiatives is highly advantageous.
