The Opportunity
Join HSBC, one of the world’s largest financial services organizations, and help us drive growth across 64 countries. We are seeking an experienced Category Manager for Workforce Sourcing to manage our Consultancy and Non-Permanent Workforce sub-categories.
In this role, you will support the Category Lead in developing forward-looking category plans, identifying outsourcing opportunities, and delivering value through strategic supply and demand-side levers.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead global strategies for consultancy to deliver cost savings, innovation, and lifecycle value.

Commercial Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations with consultancy suppliers ranging from niche firms to large-scale providers.

Tender Management: Oversee global strategic tenders and monitor the supplier market for new product opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Develop influential relationships with senior leadership across various business functions.

Value Creation: Use subject matter expertise to drive business outcomes and monitor buying channel compliance.
Requirements

Experience: Deep expertise in Consultancy and Resourcing Category Management within complex, multi-layered organizations.

Negotiation: A proven track record of leading and executing high-value, complex procurement deals.

Technical Skills: Advanced data analysis skills and proficiency with the Coupa procurement system.

Contract Management: Strong background in post-contractual activities and various commercial procurement models.

Drive: Ability to work at the pace required by a global financial leader.
