Job Description (Core Responsibilities)

  • Greeting & Direction: Direct customers to the relevant counter/s upon their arrival.

  • Service Standards: Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at the assigned front office area.

  • Customer Care: Assist customers professionally to provide them with a pleasant experience and maintain a good rapport with both customers and visitors.

  • Internal Coordination: Maintain proper coordination and good communication with other hospital departments.

  • Problem Solving: Resolve patients’ or customers’ requirements and needs quickly, efficiently, and courteously.

Entry Requirements

The requirements are split by career level as follows:

1. Customer Relations Executive

  • Age: Between 27 – 35 years.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience in customer relations.

2. Customer Relations Associate

  • Age: Between 22 – 25 years.

  • Experience: Prior experience is not strictly specified (School leavers are explicitly welcomed to apply as Trainees).

Common Skills & Attributes (For Both Roles)

  • Communication: Effective communication skills. Fluency in English & Sinhala is required; proficiency in other languages is a distinct advantage.

  • Scheduling: Willingness to work in a roster that includes night shifts.

  • Interpersonal Traits: * Voice clarity, courtesy, strong listening skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

    • A pleasing personality.

    • Being a team player with a dynamic personality and a positive attitude.
