The Opportunity

This is a pivotal time to join TSB as we prepare for our integration with Santander. We are seeking a passionate Data Privacy Assistant Manager for a six-month fixed-term contract to support our team during this period of significant growth and transformation.

You will assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Data Privacy Managers in overseeing privacy risks and ensuring compliance with current legislation. This role is essential for supporting critical integration activities while providing expert guidance to the wider business.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Strategic Support: Assist in managing data privacy risks during the Santander integration.

  • Oversight: Support the DPO in meeting legislative responsibilities and regulatory requirements.

  • Advisory: Provide clear advice to business units and coordinate responses to queries and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

  • Process Management: Handle everyday privacy activities, track key milestones, and resolve potential roadblocks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and the financial services regulatory landscape.

  • Risk Awareness: A solid understanding of risk processes and Risk Management Frameworks.

  • Tech Proficiency: Experience with MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI) is highly valued.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Collaborative Spirit: The ability to work well within a team while maintaining the confidence to manage tasks independently.
