Job Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for balancing optimal product availability across all retail stores and distribution centers with efficient inventory management. This role focuses on analyzing sales data, managing supplier performance, and collaborating across internal departments to meet business growth and working capital targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain consistent product availability at all stores and distribution centers while minimizing excess stock to achieve working capital objectives.

• Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales trends, promotional calendars, and seasonal variations to develop precise demand forecasts and hit forecast accuracy targets.

• Supplier Coordination: Oversee supplier interactions, order processing, fill rates, and overall vendor performance to guarantee on-time product delivery.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the Commercial, Logistics, and Store Operations teams to unify demand, supply, and broader business objectives.

• KPI Tracking & Improvement: Monitor and manage key performance indicators—including forecast accuracy, stock availability, inventory days, and supplier service levels—while proactively driving process improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on supply chain experience, ideally within the Retail, FMCG, or a related sector.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, Business Analytics, or a closely related field.

• Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with standard ERP systems.

• Core Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
