Job Overview

  • Job Title: IT Executive – System Support

  • Location: Siyapatha Tower, 111, Dudley Senanayake Mawatha, Colombo 08, Sri Lanka.

The Job (Key Responsibilities)

  • Requirements Gathering: Gather, define, and document business requirements and workflows in coordination with users.

  • Liaison & Support: Liaise with vendors, project teams, and infrastructure teams to support system implementation and integration.

  • Security & Access Control: Manage user access, roles, and application security controls.

  • Application Troubleshooting: Provide application support, including issue monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution.

  • System Deployments: Support system enhancements, customization, releases, and production deployments.

  • Testing: Conduct testing activities including test case execution, debugging, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) coordination.

  • Operations & End-User Support: Execute EOD (End of Day) processes, provide end-user support, training, and maintain system documentation.

The Person (Qualifications & Requirements)

  • Experience: * Minimum 2–4 years of experience in application support, system administration, or a related IT support role.

    • Experience within the banking, finance, or corporate sector is preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Lime CRM, Finacle Core Banking System, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Querying.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from a recognized university will be an added advantage.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications in database management, application support, ERP systems, or related technologies are preferred.

  • Age: Preferably below 35 years of age.

  • Key Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
