Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead – DevOps to drive cloud-native engineering, automation, and DevOps best practices across our enterprise platforms. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions while enabling seamless continuous delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD, Automation & Cloud Architecture

• Deployment Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery workflows.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and scale high-availability applications within AWS cloud environments.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage robust IaC scripts using industry-standard tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Solution Architecture: Design resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures, ensuring comprehensive documentation of system workflows and deployment standards.

Containerization, Serverless & Performance

• Orchestration: Manage containerized environments and microservices using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.

• Serverless Engineering: Build and optimize serverless solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda) using modern languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go.

• System Reliability: Continuous optimization of application performance and reliability across complex, distributed cloud environments.

Security, Governance & Observability

• Monitoring & Logging: Implement centralized monitoring, proactive alerting, and logging systems to maintain high platform visibility.

• Cloud Security: Enforce stringent cloud security policies, manage access controls, and proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all architectures and deployments comply with internal organizational guidelines and industry standards.

Innovation & Team Leadership

• Tech Roadmap: Drive DevOps best practices, contribute to the technology roadmap, and evaluate emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, RPA, Containerization).

• Technical Guidance: Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and provide technical mentorship across cross-functional engineering teams.

Entry Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent field (BSc, BCS, or a Master’s degree is preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in dedicated DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

Core Technical Competencies

• AWS Expertise: Strong, functional knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, and API Gateway.

• CI/CD & GitOps: Hands-on experience with modern integration and deployment tools (such as Jenkins, GitOps, or Argo CD).

• Containers & Programming: Deep familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, paired with hands-on scripting or programming skills in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.

• Foundational Tech: A solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking fundamentals, distributed multi-cloud systems (AWS/Azure/GCP), and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
