Key Responsibilities

Model Deployment & Pipeline Architecture

• Production Deployment: Build, test, and seamlessly deploy robust machine learning models into live, production environments.

• ML Pipelines: Architect and maintain scalable, automated machine learning pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

• Model Optimization: Collaborate closely with data scientists to optimize algorithms, ensuring high performance, low latency, and operational efficiency.

Data Engineering & Lifecycle Management

• Data Workflow Optimization: Work with large, complex datasets and streamline heavy data processing workflows.

• Performance Monitoring: Keep a close eye on live model metrics, monitoring performance over time and establishing automatic retraining schedules when necessary.

• Best Practices: Ensure rigorous code quality, strict version control, and comprehensive engineering documentation.

Job Qualifications & Skills

Required Technical Background

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering, or adjacent data roles.

• Programming: Exceptional programming skills in Python.

• ML Ecosystem: Strong, practical experience with standard ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

• Core Fundamentals: A solid grasp of foundational machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and the entire model development lifecycle.

• Databases & APIs: Experience writing efficient SQL queries and working with relational databases, alongside familiarity with building APIs using Flask or FastAPI.

• DevOps Basics: Solid experience with Git for version control, paired with a good understanding of Docker and fundamental MLOps concepts.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Practical experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Experience handling big data architectures using tools like Apache Spark or PySpark.

• Hands-on knowledge of model tracking and orchestration platforms like MLflow or Kubeflow.

• Familiarity with building real-time data streaming and event-driven data systems.
