Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to eliminate or minimize regulatory compliance risks.

  • Promote awareness of compliance policies across the organization to strengthen the compliance culture.

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance programs, including AML/CFT, data protection, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct compliance testing and monitoring across branches and departments to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal controls.

  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support compliance training and awareness initiatives.

  • Stay informed of regulatory developments and assist business units in meeting regulatory obligations.

  • Assist the Senior Manager – Compliance in strengthening the Company’s overall compliance framework.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Professional Qualification: Professional qualification (ACCA / CA / CIMA / Diploma in Compliance) will be an added advantage.

  • Experience: 4–6 years’ experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, or Regulatory Affairs within a Bank or Licensed Finance Company.

  • Knowledge Base: Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and Sri Lankan financial regulatory frameworks.

  • Skills: * Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
