Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineering professional or a motivated fresh graduate looking to build a career in project execution, MEP coordination, and utilities management within a dynamic corporate environment.

You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, managing specialized equipment procurement, and ensuring strict compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• MEP Coordination: Coordinate all mechanical and MEP-related activities throughout the construction and fit-out phases.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations strictly align with approved blueprints, technical specifications, and operational parameters.

• Progress Monitoring: Actively monitor project timelines and proactively resolve technical bottlenecks or deployment delays to ensure smooth, on-time handovers.

Procurement & Installation

• Equipment Sourcing: Manage the purchasing, installation, and final commissioning of industrial kitchen and café food preparation equipment.

• Utility Infrastructure: Oversee the procurement and setup of backup generators, hoists, and core utility networks.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate supplier submissions, verify equipment specifications against utility capacities, and handle technical quotation reviews.

Systems & Utilities Management

• LPG & Mechanical Utilities: Ensure the safe and proper installation of LPG/gas distribution lines and general mechanical utilities.

• Testing & Commissioning: Coordinate operational readiness testing prior to retail/store openings to guarantee peak system performance.

Fire & Safety Compliance

• Fire Protection: Oversee the installation of advanced fire detection and suppression systems in accordance with safety mandates.

• Regulatory Alignment: Support safety audits, inspections, and pre-handover corrective actions to maintain a hazard-free environment.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Communication Hub: Maintain seamless coordination between external contractors, independent consultants, and internal project teams.

• Documentation: Compile technical records, progress logs, and structural documentation for senior management review.

Candidate Profile

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Experience Value-Add: Prior internship experience or academic project exposure in building services, construction, or MEP engineering is an advantage.

• Technical Knowledge: A foundational understanding of HVAC setups, fire protection frameworks, gas systems, or commercial utility equipment.

• Software Skills: Practical, working proficiency in AutoCAD for interpreting and modifying technical drawings.

• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and top-tier organizational skills.

• Interpersonal Traits: Strong communication skills with a professional, growth-oriented mindset suited for a fast-paced team environment.
