Salary: £47,810 – £54,710 per annum

The Opportunity

Just Physio is seeking an experienced and leadership-oriented Band 7 Physiotherapist to join a dedicated team in East Sussex. This role is ideal for a specialist in Neurology who is looking to step into a Therapy Manager position, overseeing complex rehabilitation programmes and driving service growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Lead the clinical diagnosis and development of treatment plans for patients with complex physical, psychological, and neurological disabilities.

• Service Development: Manage and evolve the Physiotherapy service, identifying commercial opportunities to expand therapeutic activities for residents and the local community.

• Team Management: Supervise, educate, and assess a team of highly professional Therapists and Therapy Assistants, including the oversight of student placements.

• Operational Oversight: Lead NHS quality contract review meetings, manage outpatient services, and oversee discharge planning back into community settings.

• Strategic Collaboration: Act as part of the Senior Management Group, attending Trustee Board meetings and contributing to the development of local policies and standards.

• Relationship Management: Establish strong professional links with families, funders, and external healthcare colleagues to promote and maximize individual support.

Main Duties

• Conduct comprehensive postural and neurological assessments using advanced clinical reasoning.

• Ensure all risk assessments, care plans, and professional records are maintained to the highest standards.

• Manage human resources and supplies cost-effectively to optimize therapy delivery across seven days a week.

• Maintain strict compliance with the HCPC, The Care Act, HSE, and CQC regulations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Neurological Physiotherapy.

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical setting.

• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary team (MDT) collaboration and family liaison.

• A commitment to high-quality, goal-focused therapy interventions.
