Job Profile

  • Branch Oversight: Regularly visit assigned branches to inspect pawning operations, focusing on accuracy, quality, and high customer service standards.

  • Quality Control: Examine pawned items to ensure they strictly meet established valuation and quality criteria.

  • Team Support: Assist branch teams with complex customer queries and provide on-the-job training and mentoring to pawning staff.

  • Risk Management: Identify operational gaps, recommend corrective actions for risk mitigation, and ensure full compliance with regulatory norms.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside Junior Specialists and Pawning Specialists to report findings and share operational insights.

  • Business Development: Support local promotional activities, encourage staff to upsell pawning products, and identify market opportunities to increase brand reach.

Applicant Profile

  • Age: Below 45 years.

  • Education:

    • Passes in English and Mathematics at G.C.E. (O/L), Edexcel, or Cambridge O/L.

    • Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level.

    • Full or part qualification in IABF/CBF-IBSL (or equivalent) is a distinct advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pawning operations within a bank or financial institution.

    • Essential hands-on experience in gold appraisal and customer handling.

  • Skills: Strong exposure to customer service, compliance, and risk management specific to pawning products.
