The Opportunity

Join Barclays Private Bank as a Private Banking Executive. In this pivotal role, you will partner directly with Private Bankers and Wealth Managers to acquire, service, and retain High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. You will serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational matters, ensuring a seamless experience for our most sophisticated clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Support: Assist in managing complex client situations, onboarding new accounts, and preparing high-quality documentation for annual reviews and meetings.

• Operational Excellence: Execute banking transactions, credit requests, and digital solutions while collaborating closely with Operations and Business Management teams.

• Service Leadership: Lead client service review visits to improve the overall experience and act as the liaison between relationship teams and specialist support units.

• Business Growth: Assist in marketing investment and banking products to help the team achieve its overall commercial goals.

• Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML frameworks, internal governance, and regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly organized professional with a strong background in private banking or wealth management.

Essential Requirements:

• Industry Experience: Proven track record in a client-facing private banking or investment environment.

• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of banking products, risk management, lending, and security requirements.

• Language Skills: Bilingual or trilingual in EMEA languages is a requirement. Preferred languages include French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, or other Western European languages.

• Operational Precision: Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Commercial Awareness: Understanding of global financial markets and trends affecting UHNW clients.

• Problem Solving: Ability to navigate complex administrative tasks and resolve issues independently.
