As the Product Head – Money Exchange & Money Remittance, you will play a crucial role in steering our national growth strategies, managing operational efficiency, and ensuring robust regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

• Expand Market Presence: Drive nationwide business development strategies to scale transaction volumes and elevate market share.

• Build Strategic Partnerships: Proactively identify and establish high-value corporate accounts, business networks, and institutional alliances.

• Network Expansion: Design and execute actionable growth plans to expand CDB’s network of operational partners and payout locations.

• Market Intelligence: Closely monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to uncover fresh paths for revenue generation.

Operational Excellence & Compliance Support

• Supervise Daily Operations: Provide overall management support for money exchange and remittance functions to ensure seamless service execution.

• Enforce Strict Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and all Central Bank regulations.

• Capability Building: Facilitate training programs for operational staff, emphasizing regulatory alignment and exceptional customer service delivery.

• Escalation & Resolution: Manage high-level customer issues and offer direct operational oversight during complex scenarios.

• Cross-Functional Team Alignment: Collaborate directly with remittance and exchange teams to keep standard operational workflows smooth, accurate, and secure.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (a Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is highly preferred).

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or managerial roles specifically within money remittance, currency exchange, banking, or corporate financial services.

• Performance Record: A demonstrable history of achieving commercial growth targets and driving project success.

• Regulatory Expertise: Thorough, functional knowledge of local and global AML/KYC frameworks and risk management protocols.

• Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding interpersonal skills with an innate ability to pitch, negotiate, and maintain long-term business partnerships.

• Core Traits: Self-motivated, highly result-oriented, and capable of operating independently in a high-growth environment.

• Leadership Value: Prior experience in building, guiding, and mentoring operational teams is a definite asset.

• Note: Former bankers possessing relevant experience in treasury, operations, or remittance are strongly encouraged to apply.
