Company: Thames Water Location: Walton-on-Thames (KT12 2EG) Salary: From £29,000 + Overtime & Standby Pay Working Pattern: 38 hours, Monday–Friday (plus standby rota)

About the Role

We are seeking six enthusiastic Project Support Technicians to join our team at the Ashford Common Water Treatment Site. You will play a vital role in delivering clean, reliable water across London by supporting both major and minor capital projects.

This is an essential front-line position. You will work in all weather conditions to ensure the continued success of our network, making adaptability and a “can-do” attitude key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Investigations: Investigate the clean water network to resolve issues like poor pressure, leakage, and supply loss.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate professionally with stakeholders to ensure projects and maintenance programs stay on track.
Technical Advice: Provide specialist guidance to support the “first-time fix” of planned works.
Project Support: Help implement new technical systems and produce “scope of work” packs for asset care plans.
Safety First: Actively engage with Health & Safety initiatives and promote best practices.

What You’ll Bring

Collaboration: A proven ability to build trust and work effectively within a team.
Customer Focus: A strong ethic for external customer service and a track record of driving improvements.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of domestic plumbing, water mains, and leakage detection.
Qualifications: A water industry qualification in operating networks (or equivalent).
Requirements: A full UK driver’s licence is mandatory.
