About the Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading and well-established flexible packaging company in Sri Lanka.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to drive business growth, develop new customer opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

The designation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and suitability, with opportunities at Sales Executive, Assistant Manager and Manager levels.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through new customer acquisition and existing account management.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food, FMCG and related sectors.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
• Understand customer packaging requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
• Coordinate with production, technical, R&D and other internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports and performance updates for management.
• Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals with:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the flexible packaging industry.
• Experience in flexible packaging, plastic packaging, printed packaging or packaging converting.
• Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
• Experience managing key accounts and customer relationships.
• Exposure to food, FMCG, manufacturing or related industries will be highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of customer requirements.
• A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field will be an advantage.
