  • Job Title: Senior Executive – Risk Management

The Job (Key Responsibilities)

  • Risk Management Framework: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s risk management framework, policies, and procedures.

  • Risk Identification & Assessment: Monitor, identify, and assess key risks (including credit, operational, market, and liquidity risks) across all business units.

  • Stress Testing: Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk modeling to evaluate potential impacts on the company’s financial position and capital adequacy.

  • Risk Reporting: Prepare comprehensive risk management reports and dashboards for the Risk Committee and senior management.

  • Portfolio Analysis: Analyze credit portfolio trends, non-performing loans (NPLs), and concentrations to identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Liaison & Collaboration: Collaborate with business units to promote risk awareness and ensure compliance with risk limits and regulatory requirements.

The Person (Qualifications & Requirements)

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Banking, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

  • Professional Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, CA, or a professional qualification in Banking/Risk Management will be an added advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of experience in risk management, credit analysis, or a related role within the banking or financial services sector.

  • Key Skills: * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling.

    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

  • Age: Preferably below 32 years of age.
