Job Profile

Architect the Future

  • Roadmap Design: Design and execute the strategic roadmap for migrating on-premise infrastructure to public cloud platforms ($\text{AWS}$, $\text{Azure}$, or $\text{GCP}$).

  • Cloud-Native Focus: Prioritize cloud-native services ($\text{Serverless}$, $\text{Containers}$, $\text{PaaS}$) over traditional $\text{IaaS}$ frameworks.

Lead the Charge

  • Technical Authority: Serve as the technical authority and primary mentor for infrastructure and software development teams.

  • Team Culture: Foster a deeply collaborative culture centered around $\text{DevOps}$, $\text{SRE}$, and continuous development.

Automate Everything

  • Infrastructure as Code ($\text{IaC}$): Implement robust, scalable $\text{IaC}$ practices using tools like $\text{Terraform}$, $\text{Pulumi}$, or $\text{Ansible}$.

  • Environment Consistency: Ensure all deployment environments are highly reproducible, secure, and easily managed.

Master Cloud Economics

  • Financial Optimization: Partner with engineering and finance leadership to implement $\text{FinOps}$ practices.

  • Architecture Tuning: Guarantee that cloud architecture is heavily optimized for cost-efficiency without sacrificing overall performance or scalability.

Bake in Security

  • Zero Trust Governance: Design comprehensive $\text{Zero Trust}$ architectures.

  • $\text{DevSecOps}$ Integration: Integrate automated security policies directly into core $\text{CI/CD}$ pipelines.

De-risk the Migration

  • Resilient Environments: Create highly resilient, fault-tolerant infrastructure architectures.

  • Hybrid-Cloud Networking: Successfully manage the architectural complexities of hybrid-cloud networking throughout the migration transition phase.

Battle Scars & Architectural Mastery

  • Enterprise Migrations: Leverage extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-scale migrations from legacy on-premise data centers to public cloud environments.

  • Compute Paradigms: Apply deep, hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud provider alongside modern compute paradigms ($\text{Kubernetes}$, $\text{Docker}$, $\text{Serverless}$).

Automation Obsession

  • Pipeline Delivery: Maintain a proven track record of writing production-grade $\text{IaC}$ (with a preference for $\text{Terraform}$) and building sophisticated, secure $\text{CI/CD}$ pipelines.

Networking & Security Depth

  • Cloud Networking: Demonstrate a strong understanding of hybrid networking ($\text{Direct Connect/ExpressRoute}$, $\text{VPNs}$, $\text{BGP}$).

  • Cloud-First Security: Apply expert knowledge of cloud-first security models ($\text{IAM}$, $\text{KMS}$, $\text{WAF}$).

Leadership & Empathy

  • Stakeholder Influence: Utilize exceptional communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and translate complex technical concepts seamlessly to business stakeholders.

  • Mentorship: Actively guide and mentor junior engineers across the department.

Applicant’s Profile

Educational Qualifications

  • Required: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission ($\text{UGC}$).

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure.

  • Must include at least 3 years of hands-on experience in production cloud operations within a highly regulated industry (banking or FinTech environments are preferred).

Certifications & Technical Value-Adds

Candidates must hold at least one of the following valid certifications:

  • $\text{AWS}$ Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect (Professional level)

  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

  • Huawei Certified ICT Professional ($\text{HCIP}$) – Cloud Service Solutions

  • $\text{Azure}$ Administrator Associate or Security Engineer Associate or Solutions Architect Expert

The following credentials will be considered a distinct advantage:

  • Practical experience with $\text{VMware}$ or $\text{Nutanix}$ platforms.

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator ($\text{CKA}$) or $\text{REDHAT}$ OpenShift certification.

  • Excellent project management skills coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
