Job Profile

Systems Administration & Performance Optimization

  • Core Systems Management: Oversee the administration, performance monitoring, and optimization of IBM i systems.

  • Resilience & Availability: Guarantee high availability and infrastructure resilience across the production ecosystem.

AI Adoption & Operations Modernization

  • Technology Evolution: Drive the strategic adoption of AI technologies across the data center.

  • Modernization Frameworks: Stay at the forefront of emerging LLM and AIOps trends to reduce manual workloads, eliminate operational friction, and modernize data center operations.

Troubleshooting & Lifecycle Governance

  • Incident Ownership: Perform high-level troubleshooting, handle final-tier technical escalations, and manage end-to-end incident follow-up.

  • Upgrades & Switchovers: Lead and participate in core system upgrades, major infrastructure migrations, and scheduled primary/DR site switchovers.

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Vulnerability Remediation: Manage vulnerability assessments, oversee remediation tracking, and enforce strict IBM i security hardening policies.

  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure unwavering governance and regulatory compliance by leading periodic security reviews, continuous infrastructure monitoring, and strict adherence to internal and industry standards.

  • Operational Integrity: Guarantee that day-to-day data center operations comply fully with legal frameworks, internal banking policies, and industry best practices.

Applicant’s Profile

Educational Qualifications

  • Required: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a University Grants Commission (UGC) approved university.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience operating within enterprise data center operations.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced Monitoring: Practical proficiency with modern AIOps tools and service-monitoring platforms is required.

  • Platform Advantage: Hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400) administration and core system operation will be considered a distinct advantage.

  • Core Attributes: Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, robust interpersonal skills, and highly developed organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.
