Senior Procurement Executive
Location: Kiribathgoda, Sri Lanka (On-site)

Job Responsibilities

Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Source and evaluate global and local suppliers based on cost, quality metrics, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for vendor contracts, commercial pricing, payment terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Procurement Lifecycle: Oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement and purchasing cycle.

Trade Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, import/export procedures, and required documentation.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs and drive continuous vendor improvement.

Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategic cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives.

Risk Management: Mitigate supply chain risks, including potential supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and vendor dependency issues.

Inventory & Planning: Oversee inventory planning in close coordination with warehouse management and operations teams.

Governance & Ethics: Ensure strict adherence to corporate procurement policies, internal audit requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.

Reporting & Analytics: Prepare comprehensive procurement reports, spend analyses, and market forecasts for management review.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 4–8 years of proven, progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain operations.

Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with advanced negotiation capabilities.

Operational Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers, prioritize workflows, and navigate complex procurement cycles.

Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of customs regulations, shipping terms, and international trade compliance.

Attributes: Highly resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
