Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaffna, responsible for managing and growing the company’s online presence across key social platforms. This role involves planning and executing social media campaigns that promote Next Level Education’s services, brand values, and student success stories. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging content (posts, graphics, short videos), scheduling updates, monitoring performance analytics, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. The specialist will collaborate with consultants and leadership to align social media messaging with marketing goals, promote events and programs, and ensure consistent branding across all channels. The role also requires staying current with social media trends and best practices to continuously improve reach, engagement, and lead generation.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, including planning campaigns and producing platform-appropriate content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing, with the ability to support broader promotional strategies and lead generation efforts.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear writing, professional online interaction, and effective collaboration with internal teams.
• Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar) is beneficial.
• A background in education services, consulting, or related fields is an advantage, along with an interest in student success and learning.
• Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in social media and digital marketing.
• Ability to work on-site in Jaffna, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and trends.
