Job Overview

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role based within our branch. Your primary focus will be to deliver an exceptional customer experience, identifying financial needs and generating revenue through proactive engagement. You will guide customers toward the most effective banking channels while ensuring their immediate service requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers upon entry, conducting effective “discovery” conversations to understand their financial goals.

  • Relationship Building: Acquire new-to-bank customers and deepen existing relationships through personalized service.

  • Sales & Referrals: Complete product sales using the EDRAS process and provide high-quality referrals to Wealth Sales and Branch Specialists.

  • Digital Promotion: Encourage and support customers in using HSBC’s multi-channel digital services.

  • Operational Integrity: Protect the bank and our customers by remaining vigilant against fraud, completing KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements, and adhering to all regulatory policies.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport.

  • Mindset: A results-oriented, proactive, and dynamic approach to customer service and sales.
