Key Duties
As a Shipping Junior Executive, you will be responsible for assisting with the smooth coordination of logistics and transportation activities. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in scheduling and coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Communicating with transport service providers, clearing agents, and freight forwarders.
- Preparing, verifying, and maintaining accurate shipping and customs documentation.
- Tracking shipments to ensure prompt delivery and resolving transport-related issues.
- Maintaining shipment records, transport logs, and reports.
- Supporting route planning and cost control efforts.
- Collaborating with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensuring compliance with import, export, and transportation regulations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Up to 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transport coordination.
- Familiarity with both local and international shipping practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Competence in MS Office and basic logistics software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while working under deadlines.
