Key Duties
As an Audit Executive at Cool Planet, you will play a critical role in strengthening compliance and operational accuracy across our retail network. Core responsibilities include:
- Carrying out physical verification of stock at stores and warehouses to match with system records.
- Reviewing sales operations, including transaction accuracy, cash handling, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Monitoring the loyalty points process (issuance and redemption) to ensure fairness and proper system controls.
- Conducting random cash counts at store counters to verify balances against reports.
- Using CCTV reviews and audit investigations to detect irregularities in stock management, staff conduct, or financial handling.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and bring strong analytical skills to the audit process. To be successful, you should have:
- A professional or part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar audit or finance-related role.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Ability to manage pressure, meet deadlines, and work extended hours when needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the retail industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Flexibility to travel to different outlets and warehouses as part of audit assignments.
