Job Details
We are seeking a proactive Credit Analyst / Credit Analyst Trainee to join our expanding team in Kandy. This role is ideal for individuals interested in banking and finance, who can manage credit assessment processes efficiently and maintain strong communication with both clients and internal teams.
Key Duties
- Evaluate loan applications and analyze financial information to support broker decisions.
- Prepare and present credit reports to Australian mortgage brokers.
- Communicate credit policies and decisions clearly to colleagues.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Lead and support team activities in a time-sensitive environment to meet productivity goals.
- Coordinate with Australian banks for pricing requests, approvals, and smooth loan settlements.
- Ensure strict adherence to Australian laws, including the Privacy Act, NCCP Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Best Interest Duty regulations.
- Provide timely updates and communication to management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field (preferred) with 1–2 years of experience.
- Familiarity with credit products, loan procedures, or financial analysis is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new business software.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to maintain professional client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
