The Role & Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Planning
You’ll develop tailored Google Ads strategies for clients, aligning with their business objectives—be it lead generation, e-commerce sales, or brand awareness. You’ll conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and budget planning to ensure each campaign is poised for success.
Campaign Setup & Execution
You’ll build and launch optimized campaigns across Search, Display, and (if relevant) YouTube. This includes ad copy crafting, asset creation, and structure development that speaks directly to target audiences.
Ongoing Optimization & Performance Analysis
You’ll closely monitor metrics such as CTR, Cost-Per-Click, Quality Score, and conversion rates. Your job involves iterating on bids, refining keywords, and A/B testing ads—scaling what works and trimming what doesn’t.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
You’ll deliver clear, actionable reports for both internal teammates and clients. Translating raw performance data into understandable insights helps guide decision-making and builds client trust over time.
Collaboration & Innovation
Working hand-in-hand with content creators, designers, and account leads, you’ll iterate campaign strategies based on creative performance, client feedback, and market shifts—keeping our work fresh, responsive, and effective.
Qualifications
- Proven Google Ads experience (2+ years recommended): You’ve launched and optimized Search and Display campaigns, and maybe dipped into YouTube or Shopping ads. You bring a track record of driving ROI.
- Analytical skills: You’re comfortable navigating Google Ads dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, and crafting reports that spotlight performance trends and opportunities.
- Copywriting & editing savvy: You can write compelling headlines and descriptions that resonate, and tweak messaging based on observed performance.
- Campaign tools fluency: You know your way around Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking setups, and basic bidding strategies.
- Local mindset: You understand Sri Lankan businesses’ dynamics—especially in Kandy—and can adapt your strategies to reflect cultural and market subtleties.
- Adaptable, self-starting attitude: Working part-time, you’ll manage multiple client campaigns, timelines, and priorities with care and initiative.
