Key Duties
As the Project Head at ESAF, you will lead the foundation’s projects and initiatives to raise awareness, build support systems, and strengthen advocacy efforts for individuals impacted by endometriosis. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational leadership, and creative communication.
- Project Leadership: Plan, implement, and manage projects in both Colombo and rural communities, ensuring timely delivery and meaningful impact.
- Content & Media Development: Create impactful content for social media campaigns, incorporating graphic design to produce visually engaging materials.
- Fundraising & Partnerships: Drive fundraising initiatives, build strong relationships with sponsors, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, and secure sustainable funding.
- Public Advocacy: Represent ESAF at events, panel discussions, and media platforms to increase public understanding of endometriosis.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Strengthen partnerships with doctors, NGOs, donors, and international organizations aligned with ESAF’s mission.
- Strategic Growth: Shape and implement long-term awareness and fundraising strategies to expand ESAF’s presence locally and globally.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a mix of leadership skills, creativity, and passion for women’s health advocacy.
- Proficiency in graphic design and social media content creation.
- Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.
- Experience in fundraising, sponsorships, and networking.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Sinhala and English (Tamil proficiency is an advantage).
- A confident, driven personality with a deep commitment to the mission of ESAF.
