The Role & Responsibilities
In this dual role, you will balance client-focused wealth planning with leadership and mentorship of other planners.
- Provide personalized financial guidance
You will help individuals understand and map their long-term goals—such as retirement, education, or wealth preservation—and recommend tailored savings, protection, and investment solutions that reflect AIA’s holistic philosophy. - Lead and develop a team of planners (for managerial responsibilities)
If focusing on management, you will coach peers, share best practices, and reinforce AIA’s mission-driven approach, nurturing a high-performing, empathetic team. - Leverage AIA’s tools and training
Use the latest digital platforms, calculators, and scenario-planning resources to deliver clear, data-backed advice that gives clients clarity and confidence. - Build and maintain client relationships with empathy and integrity
Through regular touchpoints and genuine care, you will foster trust, ensuring clients feel supported in making life-shaping financial choices. - Stay compliant and professionally sharp
You’ll stay current with the regulatory landscape and complete mandatory conduct and governance training to uphold our ethical standards.
Qualifications
We’re looking for strong technical foundation, coupled with a heart for helping people:
- Familiarity with financial planning or insurance products
Whether through formal qualification or experience, you understand how savings, protection, and investment instruments work—and how they serve clients. - Part-time flexibility with strong self-motivation
You can manage your schedule autonomously while delivering quality service and meeting goals consistently. - Excellent communication and client-care skills
You make complex financial concepts understandable, and listen actively to clients’ aspirations and concerns. - For manager track: proven leadership or mentoring experience
If applying as a Wealth Planner’s Manager, you have a track record of guiding others, offering constructive feedback, and fostering collective success.
